Reform Jewish Liaisons

KESHER maintains a network of Reform Jewish Liaisons (RJLs) on campuses throughout North America. These liaisons serve as a direct connection between KESHER’s North American office in New York and Reform Jewish communities present at universities and colleges. Why do we have RJLs?

By registering as an RJL, you obtain official recognition of the Reform Jewish presence on your campus and are entitled to receive the following:

  • The RJL Quarterly e-newsletter, which contains information about KESHER and URJ programs and events, summer and other employment opportunities, and more.
  • Invitations to special receptions at select KESHER and URJ events and conferences.
  • A free subscription to Reform Judaism Magazine.
  • Information about new Reform Movement programs.

In the future, we hope to provide RJLs with KESHER merchandise and discounts on select programs.

As a Reform Jewish Liaison, we ask that you:

  • Once per semester, complete an online survey about Reform Jewish life on your campus.
  • Continue being involved in Jewish student life on your campus.

*Please note: There may be more than one KESHER Reform Jewish Liaison on campus. We encourage as many students as possible to serve as liaisons between the KESHER North American office and individual campuses. Questions? Send an e-mail to kesher@urj.org.
